Front End Magneto 2 Developer required to join our growing Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
Create prototypes and production-ready XHTML/CSS /JS for a greenfield Magento 2 eCommerce website

Working within an agile team, contributing to daily stand-ups, sprint planning and estimations

Contributing to the team’s focus to maintain Front End Quality through participating in coding reviews and adhering to standards

Stay current with evolving standards and technologies, learning new skills as needed

Required skills

1. Mastery of hand-coded XHTML and CSS, adhering to W3C coding standards. Table-free layouts; semantic mark-up; standards enthusiast.
2. Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (native) and JavaScript Libraries including jQuery
3. Magento 2 experience is essential
4. PHP experience is essential for this role
5. Experience using Magento’s Page builder
6. Commercial knowledge of JS Frameworks such as React and/or Angular, advantageous
7. Bootstrap Responsive Design experience is essential
8. SASS and/or LESS is essential
9. GIT Version Control
10. Experience of working within an Agile working environment
11. Great attitude, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills
12. Excellent problem-solving ability
13. Good understanding/awareness of Usability, Accessibility
14. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
15. Solid information, interaction, and visual design skills
16. Willingness to contribute to both large, complex projects and smaller tasks as directed.
17. Ability to work quickly and manage multiple projects and timelines.

1. Experience creating site architecture diagrams, UX wireframes, process flows.
2. Experience designing for dynamic and template-driven sites.
3. Creative, yet meticulous.
4. Experience of industry standard vector & bitmap graphics packages.
5. Experience of working with CMS platforms such as AEM or Sitecore
6. Experience of working on Java projects would be extremely advantageous
7. Experience with Grunt/Bower
8. TDD/BDD methodologies using Unit Testing frameworks (eg Jasmine/Karma)
9. Commercial experience of SPA and/or PWA applications
10. Working with Pattern Libraries & CSS frameworks
11. Knockout.JS experience highly desirable
